The authorizations to show TF1 and M6 on DTT will expire on May 5, 2023.

The French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication will shortly be launching a call for candidates to allocate the terrestrial resources thus made available, in accordance with article 30-1 of law no. 86-1067 of September 30, 1986 on freedom of communication.

The present public consultation is intended to prepare for this call. It is taking place at the same time as the approval proceedings relating to the acquisition of exclusive control by Bouygues of a new entity combining the activities of the TF1 and mainland Television (M6) groups. As this operation is likely to have repercussions on the answers provided in the context of this consultation, contributors are invited to take this into account and to distinguish their answers according to the possible scenarios for the development of the supply.

This consultation is open to all interested parties. Contributions must be sent to the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication by September 20, 2022 at the latest, either electronically or by post to the following address:
