Publication of contributions to the public consultation launched on July 27, 2022 and of the impact study prior to the launch of a call for applications in mainland France for digital terrestrial television.
TF1 and M6's authorizations to show their channels on DTT will expire on May 5, 2023. With a view to allocating the resources made available from May 6, 2023, the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication (Autorité de régulation de la communication audiovisuel et numérique) adopted on November 16, 2022 the impact study prior to launching a call for candidates, in accordance with article 31 of the law of September 30, 1986.
The Autorité is publishing this study, which looks at the possible impact of authorization decisions on the DTT market.
It is also publishing today a non-confidential version of the contributions to the public consultation launched on July 27, 2022.
On November 29 and 30, 2022, the Authority will interview third parties who so wish. Requests for hearings must be received no later than November 23, 2022.
Third parties wishing to comment in writing on this document may send their contribution in digital form to the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication by December 2, 2022.
