On July 27, 2022, Arcom launched a public consultation aimed at preparing the call for bidders to be launched, in application of article 30-1 of the law of September 30, 1986, in order to allocate the terrestrial resources made available when the authorizations granted to TF1 and M6 to show their programs on DTT expire on May 5, 2023. The deadline for submitting contributions was September 20.
On September 16, 2022, Bouygues, RTL Group, TF1 and the M6 group announced that they were putting an end to the planned merger of the TF1 and M6 groups, announced on May 17, 2021.
