As part of Article 26 of the law of November 15, 2021 aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of digital technology in France (known as the "REEN law"), Arcom, in conjunction with Arcep and ADEME, published a notice on September 13, 2023 for television services, on-demand audiovisual media services (SMAD) and video-sharing platforms regarding information for their consumers on the environmental impact linked to the use of their services.
The notice proposes that the services concerned inform Arcom each year of the actions they have taken to implement the notice's provisions. We therefore propose that the services covered by article 26 of the REEN law answer the questionnaire below and return it completed before April 15 , 2024.
