- In 2022, of the 33 national channels subject to the law: 21 have applied it in full (versus 19 in 2021); 9 have applied it in part; 3 have not.
- In 2023, of the 36 national channels subject to the law: 28 have fully complied; 6 have partially complied; 2 have not complied.
- As far as local television services are concerned, Arcom has observed clear progress in the implementation of the deliberation. In 2022, 17 local channels reported having shown at least one program that complied with the deliberation, and 16 in 2023 (compared with 10 and 14 channels respectively in 2020 and 2021).
- Arcom is pleased to note that 3 channels have voluntarily shown programs dealing with the deliberation's themes in 2023, even though they are not subject to the law. These are France 5, RFI and CSTAR.
- The channels offered content addressing the deliberation's themes from a variety of angles, in both amateur and professional sports managers, and sometimes specifically aimed at youngsters.
- On the whole, channels favored short programs to meet the requirements of the deliberation. These formats, which were generally broadcast several times, often circulated on the different channels of each audiovisuel group.
- With the exception of programs that are shown multiple times throughout the day, TV channels prefer to schedule their declared programs in the morning.
- In the run-up to the Paris 2024 gaming season, the importance of this event for French anti-doping was regularly mentioned in the programs declared for the 2022 and 2023 fiscal years. Beyond this perspective, they have largely highlighted the action of the French Anti-Doping Agency(AFLD).
