Protecting persons under 18 online: what are the risks? What protection is there?
53% of youngsters want more protection and support.
In order to understand the uses and practices of youngsters on digital platforms, the nature and extent of the risks to which they are exposed, and the ways in which they deal with them, Arcom has conducted a ground-breaking study on the subject.
Audience for online platforms
French people aged 12 and over spend an average of 3 hours 26 minutes a day on the Internet.
Arcom has set up an Observatoire des plateformes en ligne (Online Platforms Observatory) to gain a better understanding of the audience for very large platforms and search engines, and of platforms potentially subject to the Digital Services Regulation (DSR).
