Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, Arcom has stopped the broadcasting of several Russian channels and demanded the delisting and blocking of official Russian media sites subject to European sanctions, in application of the law of September 30, 1986 and European regulations aimed, directly or indirectly, at certain Russian media.

Following a formal notice sent to service editors, Arcom has now requested :

  • Internet service providers, providers of domain name resolution schemes and search engines to block and delist 35 official Russian media sites subject to legal sanctions.
  • search engines to delist the pages of four streaming platforms providing access to Russian television and radio services under legal sanctions.

Arcom is using all the means at its disposal to stop the diffusion in France of Russian media targeted by European legal sanctions, as well as the resumption of their content on online platforms accessible in France.

This new series of measures follows on from the decisions taken and made public on March 21 and July 3, 2025
