    The aim of the Arcep - Arcom digital cluster's digital usage repository is to aggregate data from multiple sources and develop a global vision of different digital practices.

    The Digital Cluster's aim is to cover the entire continuum of digital services, from the deployment of electronic communications networks, through terminal equipment, to various uses, particularly audiovisual.

    The repository is structured according to the various digital layers:

    • Coverage of the territory by access networks (fixed and mobile) and available bandwidths enable us to assess the Internet access possibilities available to users, for various digital uses;
    • Households covered by these networks can take out contracts with Internet service providers (ISPs), and subscribe to a range of free or paid supplies for online access to content, particularly cultural content;
    • Several terminals and connected equipment then enable them to consume this content, and, more generally, to access numerous free online services (audiovisual, social networks, messaging, e-commerce, etc.);
    • Finally, consumers connect to the Internet more or less frequently to use these free services or those to which they have subscribed, in different ways from one terminal to another. These elements are presented crosswise according to equipment and content type.
