Digital terrestrial television (DTT): channels 8 and 12 display an information screen until June 6, 2025
As of March 1, 2025, the channels shown on DTT numbers 8 and 12 will cease broadcasting, and a static news screen will be temporarily shown instead.
- This is not a technical problem.
- You don't have to adjust your TV set or box, or search for and memorize channels.
As of June 6, 2025, La Chaîne Parlementaire and Gulli will be offered on these channels, as part of a partial renumbering of DTT channels.
In addition, two new channels will be available on DTT:
- T18, as of June 6, 2025, on number 18.
- OFTV, as of September 1, 2025, on number 19.
New DTT numbering from June 6, 2025
On January 9, 2025, Arcom adopted a new numbering system for DTT channels.
This development accompanies the arrival of new services and the discontinuation of certain channels.

Channel numbering
TV channels in mainland France are grouped into two categories:
- national television services: nos. 1 to 26
- local television services: n°30 to 38
DTT channels
The frequencies allocated to the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication allow six multiplexes to be shown in mainland France.
