On Wednesday July 16, starting at 5:15 pm, Arcom held public hearings for third parties wishing to comment on the impact study on the use of radioelectric resources allocated for the diffusion of terrestrial television services in mainland France.

The cessation of the diffusion of the four Canal Plus Group pay-TV channels on digital terrestrial television (DTT) has made radioelectric resources available.

From April 30 to June 13, 2025, Arcom held a public consultationon the use of radioelectric resources allocated to the diffusion of terrestrial television services in mainland France. The Authority published the non-confidential versions of the contributionsreceived.

Arcom subsequently carried out an impact study toassess the economic situation of the sector. Following the hearings and the examination of any written contributions from interested third parties, this study will help inform Arcom's decision on whether to launch a call for bidders immediately or at a later date.

On Wednesday July 16, 2025, the Authority interviewed two third parties who had requested hearings:

  • Arcom receives TDF representatives, Wednesday July 16, 5:15 pm
  • Arcom receives representatives of L'Express, Wednesday July 16, 5:55 pm
