Television and radio channels mobilized for the "Nous sommes la France" operation on July 14, 2022
Every year, television and radio stations produce and show messages on their airwaves on the national holiday of July 14. This July 14, 2022 marks the tenth year of the "Nous sommes la France" campaign, launched at the instigation of Arcom.
The epresentation of French society in the audiovisual media
Ensuring a fair representation of the diversity of French society in the audiovisual media (television and radio) and on all their platforms, is an essential mission for Arcom.
We place the representation of diversity of French society at the heart of our action, by encouraging each publisher to concretely promote the expression of this diversity on screen and on air.
Arcom is mandatedby law to enforce a fair epresentation of French society in the audiovisual media. The Authority's mission is to ensure "[...] that the diversity of French society is represented in the programs of audiovisual communication services, and that this representation is free from prejudice."

Arcom reports annually to Parliament on the actions of television and radio service editors in terms of the epresentation of French society and the fight agains discrimination, as well as the actions it has taken.
