On Thursday June 8 and Friday June 9, Roch-Olivier Maistre, Chairman of the French regulatory authority for audiovisual and digital communication, Arcom, met with local audiovisual media from the Arcom Marseille regional delegation. This area covers the whole of the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region (departments of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Hautes-Alpes, Var and Vaucluse) and the Corsican collectivity (departments of Corse-du-Sud and Haute-Corse).
In particular, the Chairman of the Autorité was able to meet with local operators and visit the studios of France 3 Corse Via Stella, France Bleu, Chérie FM Corse, Radio Clavi Citadelle and Viatélé Paésé. The trip also included discussions with the Corsican prefect and the mayor of Ajaccio.
"You can only regulate well what you know well. That's why it's so important for me to meet the people who keep radio and TV alive, and to listen to their concerns," Roch-Olivier Maistre, President of Arcom, told Corse Matin.
